To take the responsibly on implementation of HIV/AIDS components in the “Project for HIV/AIDS prevention and VCT facilities among ethnic minorities farming communities residing along route 9 in Quang Tri province, Vietnam and Savannakhet province, Lao”

Position reserved for national Vietnamese people, people with disabilities are welcomed
Duties: This Dong Ha / Quang Tri based position will come under the direct management of the Deputy Project Manger and supervision of the Coordinator/Project Manager and will have the responsibility for:

 Participate to operational relationships with the different project partners on HIV/AIDS component (DoH / DoET / Women’s Union and others on prevention and care)
 Participate to planning, implementing and monitoring activities and responsible of the implementation of HIV/AIDS activities
 Participate to preparation and participate in site visits
 Participate to monitoring of partnership with local and national entities
 Coordinating VCT and care component on HIV/AIDS with DoH
 Participate to reports for supervisors and donor agencies
 Implementing parts of the budget for project activities
 In team work can propose ideas to consolidate the project in Quang Tri, Sepone and surroundings

 Vietnamese national with written and verbal fluency in English
 University degrees relevant to the position of Project Officer in developing projects
 Experience in community development work or related fields
 Demonstrated familiarity with Vietnamese HIV/AIDS policies and laws
 Experience in VCT and care HIV/AIDS projects
 At least 3 years professional experience with an international organization preferably an NGO
 Working experience with project management, and an understanding of monitoring and evaluation.
 Experience monitoring project proposals and budgets
 Considerable field work and traveling experience
 Computer literate (Word, Excel)
 Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a team with minimum of supervision, exercise judgment, meet deadlines and work under pressure
 Motivated, responsible, takes initiative, and well organized
 Involved in social, disability and development fields
