Shaft Speed Sensor Overview
Electro-Sensors offers many shaft speed sensors for virtually any environment. Our Hall-Effect and Magnetoresistive Sensors sense magnetic targets and work with our magnetic pulsers (Discs, Wraps, Wheels). Our proximity sensors sense ferrous metal targets, including bolt-heads, screws, gearteeth and keyslots.

The stainless steel Hall Effect sensor provides a square-wave pulse frequency output, NPN open-collector. It is 5-24 VDC powered with zero speed operation and no signal loss. These Hall Effect sensors work with Electro-Sensors Pulser Discs and Split Collar Pulser Wraps. |
