Winding Resistance

The WR-Line includes instruments to measure the winding resistance of all kinds of transformer, generators, motors... There are small battery operated instrumets from 15 Ampere up to rack mount versions with 100 Ampere measuring ranges.

Winding resistance measurements in transformers are of fundamental importance for the following purposes:
- Calculations of the I2R component of conductor losses.
- Calculation of winding temperature at the end of a temperature test cycle.

  

Micro Ohm Meter

Raytechs digital micro ohm meters were designed for high degree of accuracy for the measurement of very low resistance. This technology was then packed into portable test systems for use by apparatus manufacturers, rebuild shops, and electrical maintenance crews. There are battery operated instruments with a measurement current of 10A and line operated systems up to 200A with a resolution of 0.01μOhm.

  

Software

For all our instruments we offer a powerful software for free. It is a tool for remote control, data exchange and analysis. It runs on every windows based PC.
