Overview:
MEO-401, Optical Ethernet Bridge is a new converting device, which accomplishes the converting between: 10/100Base-TX and 100 Base-FX, 10/100Base-TX and G.703, 100base-FX and G.703, It used as Ethernet Bridge or fiber optic modem or Ethernet Media Converter, and it makes the investment to build a network reduced much and the structure of the network simplified .
Features:
- In accordance with G.703, G.736, G.823, IEEE 802.3u standard.
- E1 interface framing or un-framing optional;
- Ethernet interface 10/100M, full/half duplex modes auto-negotiation;
- Support one optic interface of Ethernet.
- MAC addresses self-learning and addresses filtering automatically
- 64Mbits SDRAM Ethernet data buffer memory, assuring high throughput of data transmission.
- Two architectures: stand alone and 19in rack mount architecture (16 interface converter modules can be inserted in the rack mount architecture);
- Optional AC 220V or DC –48V or AC+DC input for bridge of both architectures
- Hot rear up of double power supplies is provided for the Bridge of rack mount architecture, assuring high reliability
